The Organisation of Teaching and Learning Print

books2.jpgThe school teaches a broad and balanced curriculum following and extending the National Curriculum.  We aim to extend children’s knowledge of themselves and the world in which they live.

As a school we will promote the social, spiritual, moral and physical development of our children to prepare them for the opportunities and experiences of adult life.

We aim to provide a quality education for all of our pupils.  We believe that every child has the ability to improve and to experience success. We feel that it is important that children experience a variety of teaching and learning styles.  They may be taught at times as a whole class, in year groups, smaller ability groups or individually.  In this way, the teacher can assess which may be most effective to the task in hand and the needs of the individual children.
