Opal class have been busy learning about Buddhism in R.E. We have been learning about the various symbols and their meaning and making our very own Lotus flowers, which in Buddhism symbolises “mental and spiritual purity”. We have also been taking part in role plays to help us learn about the eight fold path and the middle path, which explains how Buddhist use it to help them live their lives.
