This week Jet class have been talking a lot about mental health and what we can do to help. We discussed mindfulness and calming activities such as reading, music, drawing, going for a walk etc. We have also implemented our Daily Check in board which you cans ee on the image and in our classroom. Each day we all come and check in in the morning. We can change our peg throughout the day so that people know to help out if we are struggling. Romy and Miss Allt can also use it to approach us. We have been using it to help us to be able to understand ourselves better and to improve our self-regulation. It’s been fantastic!
