‘Ocean Art workshop’ visits Opal Class!

This week we were visited by Ocean Art Workshop. Two wonderful ladies called Celia and Lulu came to tell us all about a very special mermaid who lives in the sea. We learned about what her life is like, living in the sea and about all her animal friends.

We learned the names of some very interesting new creatures as well as sharing our own knowledge of animals that live in the sea.

We made some marvellous art work inspired by the stories they told us!

At the end of the session, we found out how the ocean is changing and how life is changing for ocean animals. We learned how important it is for us to look after the Ocean and all the animals that live there!
