As part of our topic ‘In The Garden’ we went on a fun trip to Gillespie Park! We learnt about the different insects we might find in the park. Can you remember why a spider is not an insect?
Then we went pond dipping! What did you find in your net?
Next we went on an insect hunt! We searched under the logs and in the bushes for any insects that might be hiding. Which was your favourite insect?
Finally we got on the bus and came back to school. Everyone was super sensible, well done Emerald Class!
