As part of our Year 6 English unit, ‘Stories with Flashbacks,’ we have been using the visual narrative The Lighthouse. We have been using the video as a stimulus
for our writing.
Children took part in ‘Conscience Ally’ to listen to the opinions and viewpoints of others.
We had a classroom debate about whether or not the party in the village should take place.
- Some children were asked to act in role as Village Councillors and make a final decision based on the different arguments.
