The week in Opal class. In English children have been practising using direct speech in their writing along with the aid of using the zone of relevance to help them add tension and mystery. In Maths we have been practising setting up and using column addition. In science we drew sketches of rock samples and carried out a hardness and softness test on different rock samples. In PSHe we are learning about the dangers of alcohol and the effect it has on our bodies. In RE we have been learning and role playing the last supper and the betrayal of Jesus by Judas.
