This Tuesday 3 lucky members of the JLT joined Mr Jones for a trip to the Houses of Parliament in Westminster.
We joined 8 of the other Islington Deanery Schools for an amazing experience at the heart of the UK parliament.
Children had a guided tour of the Houses of Parliament including access to the House of Commons to watch a live debate. We also went into Westminster Hall to learn about the history of parliament and finished with a workshop learning about the Suffragettes and the history of women’s right to vote.
