This week the children have been busy doing some great learning across all areas of the curriculum. In Maths we have been learning about place value by using dienes, place value cards and bead strings. We have been making and writing numbers up to 1000. In English we have been reading our class text “Leon and the place between” and identifying nouns, verbs, adverbs and adjectives. Science children have been finding out about the five main food groups, the nutritional value we get from them and how they help our bodies. In RE we have been exploring and discussing our big question ” What is the Bible’s Big Story and what does it reveal about having faith in God?”
