This week in Opal Class we have been getting confident in using greater than and less than symbols to help us with our place values and been partitioning 2 and 3-digit number in different ways. In RE we carried on with our learning of the eight key concepts that help us to understand the “Big” picture.
We have been busy doing a lot of learning based around our topic of Ancient Egypt. We have been learning all about the social structure of the Egyptian society and building our very own social pyramids. We also learnt to write our names in hieroglyphics. We used pastel colours to do some art work too.
