Anthony from RSPB came to visit Ruby class!

We were all very excited to go on a Minibeast hunt around the school grounds!

But first, we had to learn how to use the magnifying glass so that we could see our findings up close and personal.

Then we began our hunt for minibeasts in their natural habitats.

Our first stop was the garden where we looked at the tadpoles, woodlice, snails and many different plants.

We then headed to the greenhouse and the growing area to learn more about the variety of plants that are growing in our school.

We thoroughly enjoyed our hunt around the playground and we learnt many new and interesting facts about minibeasts and their habitat.

Thank you for your help in sparking our love for spotting minibeasts Anthony and Caroline!
