The children in Coral Class have been learning how to tell the time this week.
They payed ‘ domino time ‘ and drew hands on the clocks to show the correct time and read clock faces and wrote down the time.
Some children were challenged by working out the correct time if the clock was 5 or 10 minutes fast/slow.
Time dominoes – first one to get rid of all their cards are the winners!
Some children played whilst eating their free breakfast bagel.
I think it got a little competitive, in a fun way!
Some children had some tricky ‘time’ questions and checked each others work, making sure we all understood what we were doing.
Kate was impressed with how quickly the children picked up the skill to tell the time.
