We have been exploring and learning about 3D shapes this week, here are some activities below to help you familiarise yourself with them!
- Listen to this 3D shape song and sing along to it:
- Look at some empty packages and boxes, what shape are they? Can you find some cube, cuboid or a cylinder?
- Collect items around your house that are 3D shape such as a small ball, glue stick, die and a small toy brick. Hide the objects in a bag, put your hand in the bag and describe the shape to an adult for the to guess.
- Make a model using 3D shapes. What can you use the sphere for? Can you tell an adult which shapes are easier to build with?
