Dear Parents/ Carers,

During this difficult time of school closure, the staff team have been working hard to provide you with the resources and guidance to support your child’s learning at home.

Firstly, the school website will be used as the main way for teachers to share learning activities/ home learning projects with you and your children.

If you go onto the school website and select Year Groups- Home Learning, you will see a comprehensive guide of how to support your child’s home learning. http://www.st-marks.islington.sch.uk/home-learning/

This includes a wide variety of free online activities and projects linked to our school Curriculum Maps. Please check your child’s year group page regularly as teachers will be updating the ‘Blog’ and ‘Home Learning’ sections regularly with up to date work for your children.

Secondly, the school has purchased CGP workbooks for every child in the school to support their home learning. These book are now available to collect from the school office from today.

Can you please collect your child’s/ children’s workbooks at the next available opportunity and sign to say that you’ve collected them. For families in self-isolation, could you please organise for someone to collect them on your behalf.

Guidance on how to use the CGP books with your child is also given on the school website – Year Groups- Home Learning, as discussed above.

Thank you all for support during this challenging and unpredictable time.
