Today Year 5 had a visitor to celebrate Computing Week. Dan came and told us about programming and the careers that we could go into if we enjoyed it. He then showed us Microbits, these are small pieces of equipment that we can programme using microsoft software, he taught us how to use basic programming to make them light up and display messages. They can be used to develop robotics and other technologies which we will be learning about in greater detail!
