We are trialling a new whole school handwriting scheme which teaches the children from EYFS up to y6 to join letters up. Cursive, or joined up, writing helps with fluency and can be helpful to learn tricky words when reading.
Emerald are currently practising the patterns which will be part of the cursive letters we learn later on. Check your child’s bookbag if you want to see what we’re up to!
