Last week we visited North Library for a very special storytelling session.
We sang Irish folk songs and learnt how to play the bodhrán, an Irish frame drum. Then we listened to a very theatrical retelling of a story by a real author called Kate Corkery . We learned about ghastly Giants, goblins, gallant horses and brave blacksmiths.
We enjoyed listening to the stories so much, we now have been inspired to write our own!
