Primrose Class have been reading The First Drawing, a book about a child who created the first ever drawing over thirty million years ago. We created cave drawings of giant elks, woolly mammoths and hand prints using charcoal.
The cave paintings in the book are inspired by the famous Chauvet Cave where archaeologists found astonishing cave art alongside the footprint of a young child and their pet wolf.
