This half term in Ruby class we have been learning about the lives of people who have made a big impact in our world. We have learnt about Monarchs and explorers who visited the polar regions. Our class assembly shared the story of a polar explorer called Ernest Shackleton. Although he was unsuccessful making it to the South Pole, he is known for his remarkable perseverance and survival.
