Opal class visited the British Museum to learn about the Ancient Egyptians.

The children were like real detectives, using historical artefacts to find facts about the life of an rich man called Nebuman.

We found out what the  Ancient Egyptians wore, what they ate and how they lived,  just by studying this one historical artefact from Nebuman’s tomb. The children were fascinated by the range of mummies in the museum. Did you know that in ancient Egypt they mummified cats too?
We felt so grown up in the lecture hall at the museum. We really impressed the historian at the Museum with our own knowledge of Ancient Egypt. Well done Opal Class!
