Pearl class are carrying out an experiment to find out the importance of hand washing. As a class, we have discussed how to keep our bodies healthy as part of learning about ambulances.
The children have agreed that germs can make us sick. We have then spoken about how we can keep ourselves healthy and we have come up with washing our hands.

We had 3 slices of bread. The first was the control. The second slice was touched by the children before they washed their hands. The third slice was touched by the children’s clean hands. The children will be able to observe the changes to the slices of bread over time.
