Today in Year 5 we have been looking at The Lorax by Dr Seuss. We discovered that he liked to make up his own words. Miss Allt held up a roll of cellotape and called it a ‘snorgle’ and told us that it was a method of transportation by rolling it under your feet. Then we went around the circle and each said ‘This is my snorgle and I use it for……’. It was really fun making up our own silly words!

We then made a Dr Seuss dictionary and gave definitions for Dr Seuss’ language using evidence from the text.

Can you write your definition of a snorgle?
