For English we studied the amazing book “The Matchbox Diary” by Paul Fleschman, illustrated by Bagram Ibatoullne.
Coral Class used this book to explore issues of immigration, class status and ways of recoding and keeping memorable events alive. We wrote informal letters, diary entries and role played in character.
