Lost Property
What happens to lost property?
We do not have a specific store for lost property at the school and children are expected to look after their own belongings. Items of uniform must be clearly labelled with your child’s name and class name, this includes PE kits. Anything found by our Premises Manager which is not labelled is kept until the end of each term. On the last day of term the Premises Manager places all items of uniform on a table in the playground for parents to reclaim their children’s property.

Lunch Time
What happens at lunch time?
Reception children (Emerald class) have a lunch break of 1.5 hours. They are the first class to dine at 12 midday. KS1 classes (Sapphire and Ruby) follow at 12.10pm and 12.15pm. KS2 children dine in house teams between 12.30pm and 1.30pm. All children play in the playground during their lunch break and are engaged in structured play activities led by teaching assistants who are also the meal time supervisors, unless weather prevents them from doing so. If it is raining, ‘wet play’ activities are supervised in classrooms.
Money
How should money be taken in to school?
We do not advise that children bring money to school as it is easy for them to lose it. If we ask for contribution towards a school trip we would be grateful, where possible, if parents could pay the cost directly to the school office.
Office staff can accept either cash or cheque payments. There is no facility at the school to take payments by card.
